Data Governance Leads on carbon.talent establish the policies, processes, and tooling that make data a reliable enterprise asset. As privacy law becomes table stakes, demand for governance specialists has increased significantly. What we look for: - Experience implementing or leading a data governance programme (DAMA-DMBOK or equivalent framework) - Working knowledge of GDPR and similar privacy laws - Familiarity with data catalogue and lineage tools (Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, or open-source equivalents) - Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools - Ability to translate governance policy into engineering requirements - 5+ years in a data role, with at least 2 focused on governance or compliance This is an open carbon.talent role, not a specific company vacancy.
