Data Architect

carbon.talent is always recruiting for Data Architects who can design data platforms that scale. Data Architects in our pool set the technical direction for how organisations store, move, and serve data. They are called in when a company is rearchitecting a legacy warehouse, planning a lakehouse migration, or designing for regulatory compliance. What we look for: - Experience designing enterprise data platforms — Medallion, Data Mesh, or hybrid architectures - Deep knowledge of cloud data services across AWS, GCP, or Azure - Proficiency with data modelling tools and concepts (Kimball, Data Vault, or entity-relationship) - Understanding of data governance frameworks, lineage, and cataloguing tools (Collibra, Alation, or similar) - Ability to produce and communicate reference architectures to both engineering and executive audiences - 5+ years of data platform experience, with 2+ in architectural roles This is a talent pool role, not a specific company vacancy.
